
Genset Maintenance Tips
Lubrication
- Check oil level. Top up, if necessary
- Check for leakages
Fuel System
- Check the fuel level in the tank. Please stop the set before checking/filling the fuel. Secure the tank cap after checking
- Check for leakages
- Drain about 50-100 ml of fuel from the tank to check for sedimentation
Battery
- Check the battery electrolyte level
- Check for loose connections
- Check for corrosion on battery terminals
Cooling system
- Check for coolant level in the radiator. Secure the tank cap after checking
- Check the condition of the fan belt
Others
- Check for any loose connections
- Carry out regular cleaning
- Check for functioning of all instruments
PS: Please contact your service provider for oil maintenance once in three months or on completion of 275 engine running hours. We recommend you also call your service provider in case of other problems like trouble starting, set tripping, abnormality or breakdown. |
